ITS European Congress 2020

18 May 2020

Lisbon, 18-20 May 2020

Elgin are delighted to be exhibiting for the first time at the ITS European Congress 2020, taking place in Lisbon, Portugal. ITS European Congress is the largest event to be entirely dedicated to smart mobility and digitalisation of transport.

Please come and visit us at stand G31, where we will be showcasing our one.network platform, already acknowledged as a successful award-winning solution for planning, monitoring, communicating and analysing traffic disruptions.

Here we will be demonstrating the innovative tools in our Traffic Insight suite, such as Traffic Management, which enables users to plan, coordinate, digitise and disseminate information about various temporary traffic interventions, Network Monitor, for real-time network management intelligence, Clash & Coordination, which provides clash detection and collaboration to coordinate works and protect routes and and Live Link solution that transmits live road closure updates to sat-navs.

Utility Week Live 2020

10 November 2020

NEC Birmingham, 10-11 November

*Please note that Utility Week Live has been postponed to 10th - 11th November.

We are very pleased to be exhibiting once more at Utility Week Live, taking a central position in the Streetworks Village.

Moving from a focus on transition to imagining the end game, the headline theme for Utility Week Live 2020 is 'The Utility of the Future'.

On stand E48, we will be demonstrating the one.network platform, already widely used by streetworks professionals for planning, coordinating and communicating works, with services that have proven to improve efficiency, decrease costs and deliver substantial operational savings and regulatory incentives.

We will be showcasing in particular Works Planning, to reduce aborted works and other planning failures and Content Management, to improve customer communication and satisfaction levels, both of which have already been adopted by and are delivering significant benefits for leading utility and contractor organisations.

Matt Bright from Elgin and James Hatt from Morrison Utility Services (MUS) will also, as part of the Streetworks Theatre programme, be presenting the new Virtual Trial Hole Assistant (VTA), a collaboration project which aims to revolutionise the process of planning and executing underground excavation work. This solution can reduce the number of aborted jobs and costly delays which can result from concurrent excavation works due to digging on wrongly located mains, but also increases the opportunity for works undertakers to collaborate using the same excavation, further reducing occupation on the road network and potentially reducing permitting costs.
