Scheduled technology upgrade Saturday 28 October services at risk - important notice

We are making some changes to the technology that runs behind the scenes. The changes are scheduled to go live between 10am and 7pm on Saturday 28 October. During this period services may be at risk, though we expect the actual period of downtime to be shorter. 

ACTION REQUIRED: Users of TM App and EToN App should ensure they save any unsaved work and log out beforehand. Non-essential use of these services during the at risk period is discouraged. We will advise once the changes have been successfully deployed and the at risk status is lifted.

Why are we making the changes?

Elgin’s services have been running on the same database platform for a number of years and it is time to upgrade. Over the past few months we have been building a much faster and more scalable database which will ensure that we deliver to the high expectations of an ever growing user community. The new database will be “invisible” to users and services will continue to function in the same way as before.
